India stands at a unique crossroads. On one hand, it's a hub of rapid technological advancement and economic potential. On the other, a vast majority of its workforce remains excluded from formal systems of skill development and employment.
With over 500 million workers, and more than 80% employed in the informal sector, India’s labor force is full of untapped potential. Many of these individuals work as unskilled laborers—not due to a lack of capability, but because of a lack of access. Only 4.69% of India’s workforce has received formal skill training, according to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a call to action.

Jelly Town’s Approach: Empowering from the Ground Up
At Jelly Town, we believe that real change begins at the grassroots. While technology is a powerful enabler, true and lasting progress must include every segment of our society—across industries like food, pharma, automobile, and agriculture.
Our mission goes beyond making fun and flavorful products. We see every unit produced as an opportunity to empower, uplift, and include.
That’s why we’ve made it our priority to:
Train and employ local women in packaging, quality control, and production
Provide structured, hands-on skill development
Create a workplace culture rooted in respect and dignity
By doing this, we’re not only creating jobs—we’re helping build: ✅ Financial independence for families✅ Dignity through skill-building and learning✅ A sense of purpose and pride in every role
Beyond Candy: A Ripple of Empowerment
We don’t view our workforce as just a part of the process—we see them as partners in progress. Each woman trained, each job created, each product shipped carries with it a ripple of empowerment that touches homes and communities.
At Jelly Town, we envision a future where every product becomes a vehicle for positive social impact.
Because to us, it’s more than candy—it’s a commitment to growth, dignity, and inclusion.
